The WAEBF 2012 Winter Season is set to kick-off on the 4th/5th April. A meeting for interested participants/teams is being held at Fed's HQ on January 31st, for more information click on the following link.

The 2011 WA 9 Ball Championship was held at the Pool Room, Essex St Fremantle on Sat 10th Dec.

Surprise packet Norman Browne advanced through to the final in the winner’s section with a 5 – 4 win over Veteran Avelino De Freitas.

In the loser’s section, Brendan O’Brien defeated Gary Parker 3-2 and met Avelino to decide the other finalist.

In a see-sawing last frame, Avelino was successful 3-2. The final was played with onlookers wondering if Norman could continue the fine potting form shown up to then. In an interesting match, Avelino won 5-2 and because Norman still had a life, another match of a race to 3 was played.

Avelino again proved too good and ran out winner 3-0.
